Also on hand are Mayall’s longtime dynamic Chicago rhythm section of Greg Rzab on bass guitar and Jay Davenport on drums with Austin’s multi-talented and charismatic Carolyn Wonderland on guitar. Recorded at Robby Krieger’s (The Doors) Horse Latitudes studio with Grammy nominated Producer Eric Corne, The Sun is Shining Down is Mayall’s 5th studio album for Forty Below Records, a fruitful partnership that began with 2014’s A Special Life. „I couldn’t be happier with the new record,“ exclaims Mayall. „I can’t wait to share it with my fans. John Mayall – The Diary Of A Band, 1968 LP, London Records – PS 570 In Shrink
Overall, this album is in pretty nice shape as shown this still has its original shrink on it. There are spots of the shrink that are torn a bit. The outer sleeve does have some minor flaws due to years of storage. The inner sleeve is in nice condition. The actual record does have some scratches on it for the most part. The record plays really well on the B side of the record is where there’s a decent scratch where it does affect playback and gives a little popping skip sound, but then resumes after the scratch and it plays fine.

Should be decent casual player copies once cleaned up. Grading break down, on a side note grading is obviously the most important, and hardest part of the job. It’s also the most subjective. I do use Goldmine Grading as a standard, or as close as I can interpret it.
